Today, I am keeping in my thoughts all the WWII veterans, most of whom are gone now, who served bravely & proudly on June 6th, 1944. Thank you!
And also remembering my Dad, who wasn't on the beaches of Normandy, but was nonetheless in the service, I believe elsewhere in Europe, at the time... while Mom spent the day in the hospital where she gave birth to my brother at 4 minutes before midnight.
